Nick Griffin, voice of hate!

Well, when I first learned that BBC's Question Time would be inviting the leader of the British National Party on the show to join in with the debate with other political parties, I was appalled.  How can a long running respected institute like the BBC be seen to condone the BNP.  The BNP should not be allowed, in my opinion, to stand as a recognised political party in the first place. If we do actually live in a democracy, which I was led to believe we do, then isn't it true that we should be making a stand for equality?  The issue of equality is something that should of been dealt with a long time ago, when people faught to give women the right to vote, and so it seems to me, by giving this slimey, ignorant, mis-educated man Nick Griffin a platform to spout his beliefs and try to manipulate the public into thinking that somehow he will do good for this country, is setting us back thousands of years.    I beleive in a time where viewing figures are of major importance to the media, that this was just a cheap publicity stunt to get the public talking and listening to the BBC again. Well yes I did tune in to watch the show, and Question Time did have more viewers last night than that of Strictly Come Dancing, a prime time celebrity TV show, so they have achieved what I believe they set out to do, but what they have to ask themselves now is, what damage have they done to their relationships with the public, and to what affect.

  1. Nick griffin was loving the attention on the panel, no matter what he was being asked, and the fact that he tried to say his views are less concerning on the issue about multicultural people living in this country, it does seem a cause of concern, but we all know what nick griffen is like, and to the people that don’t, i do hope they do their research, on nick griffens past previous beliefs while he was in the national front.
The main finger though has to be pointed to BBC. I can’t see nick griffin running to the chance of going on question time, knowing he would be grilled with these questions. But BBC knew his policies and views would show great concern as people would watch the program to see him be challenged or ridiculed in some way, i.e. when one of the contenders said “ a question for dick gr.. sorry nick griffen” just all expected really. But in some way, this could be used to show so many people hating on him, that you might think people start to sympathies on him, and from this, they can listen to his nonsense views.
